The club was lively with slapping cards and random bursts of shrieking as Life Pegs held the first ever “UNO Champion Contest” on April 14th, 2009.

Our American friend Abigail, known for her lightning-fast UNO skills, came on Tuesday evening to teach us some tricks and tips to playing UNO. While UNO is easy to learn, it is more popular for the way it challenges player’s speed of reaction. Life Pegs players discovered this through playing, which brought out tons of laughter and joy! One participant said, “I can live it up tonight and make new friends!” Another participant said that he had found a new game to love and felt like floating on air!

The other two UNO contests will be held on April 21st and 28th (6:00 – 7:30 on Tuesday evening). The first and second place winners will each get a club activity coupon for 200¥ and 100¥ respectively.
