The Grand Opening of the Life Pegs Office

We are so pleased to announce that March 21 was the grand opening day of the Life Pegs International Club and office! After preparing for nearly a whole year, the Life Pegs team and many volunteers were so excited to finally see this day arrive!
We were honored to have many student society leaders as well as several foreign friends from different universities of Changchun for our grand opening. Our dear guests and friends were pleased to find the special features of the day!
American-style chicken-salad and egg-salad sandwiches, cookies provided by “?” and a variety of international snacks made specially by our friends from America and the Philippines.
Life Pegs was pleased to introduce two new games to Changchun for our special day! An American card game called “UNO” was a big hit, with several rounds going on throughout the day. “Jenga,” a thrilling game of balance, taking chances, and crashing towers was the second featured game of the day – also played at high volume all during the day!
Our opening ceremony started at a little after 2:00 pm, as guests began pouring in. The Life Pegs team introduced themselves first, then shared the purpose of this new club. In the end, they explained how to become a member and described the first of our exciting upcoming activities! After such an introduction, many were eager to sign up, and we gladly welcomed the first 50 members of Life Pegs! New members included students, society leaders, and a few foreign friends as well.
